Malles, Ierapetra

Malles is a historic village in the municipality of Ierapetra, in Lasithi prefecture, on Crete. It is situated 25 km north-west of Ierapetra, 40 km from Agios Nikolaos and 12 km away from the sea (Myrtos village). Today Malles is one of the most graphic mountainous villages ( 600 m. height ), on the slopes of Diktis, in the middle of the thick forest region of Selakano, full of pine trees and oaks where nature created paths full of adventure. It is a region with a revitalizing climate which according to the traditional myths is full of positive energy.
